The top Exec’s of many companies rake in over 1 million a year. IE: Michael Eisner – Disney. Yet the employees barely make ends meet. Employees are cut due to expences, have to co pay insurance, do not get bonus’ or stock, no company car, credit card for gas, no expence account, etc.
This is the way things were in the late 1800’s with the sweat shops that led to the necessity for Labor Unions.
How can anyone say that they should make one million and you should make $18,000 and that’s fair wages?
This is right on the edge of being criminal.
The top Fat Cats sucking the life blood out of the companies and then blaming it on the employees. Then they cut the number of workers to show a profit margin increase. Then they give themselves a bonus for making the numbers…
Which means they need to cut more workers, raise the co pays, decrease any raises again next year.
This is the beginning of the end. A total collapse of our economy will be the result if this continues.
Frank, Thank you for your opinion. How ever you obviously have learned what the business industry has wanted you to and not opened your eyes to reality.
NO ONE in a company is worth over a million a year.
If they have to let employees go to make the dividends go up it is clearly mis-management.
Either they didn’t need that many employees to begin with or they are doing what they can to save their own butts.
What the companies are doing is slowly working to economic slavery.
The people are not being paid well enough so they are essentially forced to overtime to make ends meet.

The song “owe my sole to the company store” comes to mind.
You compared the US workers to the foreign countries. That is impossible to do.
If you compare one aspect you need to compare all aspects.
You MUST compare every country in the world not just the poorest.
Also compare other things besides pay… Should the USA cut off the hands of theives to be equal with some indonesia countries?
