I am going on an interview early next week for a financial representative at a top life insurance company. I know that these types of jobs have potential to bring in good money since it is commission based but are life insurance policy sales declining due to the weakened economy? So good idea or bad idea?

Also if you think it is a good idea, is it a better idea than being involved with an auto insurance company in the claims department (salary based). I have an interview with a top auto insurer company late next week.

I have a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. (NO, I do NOT want to be anything related to being a cop or social worker…and in all honestly, their pay sucks). I presently work as an Injury Claims Adjuster for a top auto insurance company. And while I cannot complain about the salary, 50K, I’m just done with the company I’m working for presently. Problems is…I’m 24 years old and still have no clue what I would really like to do with my life. (Yes, I’ve taken all those career quizzes to see what you would be good at…) Does anyone within insurance really enjoy their job? If so, what company do you work for and what is your position. Or, does anyone out there have any interesting jobs that comes along with a good salary? Any and all ideas would be GREAT as I desperately need to find a new job…I just can’t take it any longer with this company.
