okay so most of you know about his new film. i personally think its bullshit because my parents own their own life/health care insurance brokerage company and worked very hard to build it up. i just want to know what most of you think. do you really feel that americas health care systems have failed so much more than that of hundreds of other countries around the world? i feel that america would be in the top 5 countries of excellent health care. i dont understand why micheale moores fat ass couldnt go to some country like ethiopia where they have basically zero healthcare and children starve and die everyday. thats the true issue. that fact of the matter is that his movie will be swaying thousands of neutral minds just like all his other movies, to beleive that the democrat way is the only way. he doesnt realize that he himself, if he does accomplish his goal of voting in a democrat, will be costing millions of hardworking people their jobs. let me get some of your opinions on this
to all you democrats. im not nessecarily asking is he right. im asking is it right to force opinions upon other people? and to the first bitch that answered, why dont you work in the healthcare system honey. youll realize that its not the brokers nor the doctors faults. its the insure company itself. there should be laws regulated now a whole shutdown of insurance companies. my parents will be broke and out of a job just liek thousands of others if a democrat goes in. do you find that very american you fucking whore

I was the renter of a duplex apartment, and we had a fire. We lost everything but our lives-thank god. This fire happened in july 2005. Now last Friday, the 27th, I was served with a summons. My old landlord’s insurance company is suing us for $80,000. They’re saying it was child negligence of my 2 year old as the reason for the fire. They’re saying my 2 year old(at the time)is responsible for setting the fire. In the summons it says “On july22 2005, the defendants failed to properly supervise a minor child who negligently and carelessly caused a fire while playing with matches…” It says we were responsible for supervising him and for keeping the matches in a safe place. This is bullsh!t! I was cooking, the father was sitting in the living room, and my son was playing in his room. The fire started in my room. And I had the matches on top of a very tall dresser. I feel like just because I admitted to having matches in the house, they’re automatically trying to place the blame on that
In the official fire report, the cause is stated as the result of a young child playing with a cigarette lighter. I KNOW for certain that my son never played with a lighter, or could even light one. The fire report also says “It is recommended that this case be closed and classified as accidental in nature.”
So how can they say matches AND cigarette lighter?
And what the heck can I do??? We’ve already lost everything once, and now theyre trying to take everything weve got again. How can they say child negligence? Before that fire, I was never charged or even accused of child negligence. And we have no record of arson.
Idid get a couple letters this year from the insurance’s lawyers, telling us that we owed $. But the summons letter is dated July 24 2007, only 2 days past the 2 year mark.
I’m in Florida.

Best reason to go toward universal healthcare. Best reason not to?

I think we should because of personal happenings. My grandad got a rare type of cancer and after about three months he was taken off the best medicine and put on a much cheaper, inferior drug. He paid the insurance companies his entire life and when he needed them to pay they wanted to be cheap, and cost him a month or two of life. I have seen a few studies that rate industialized counties on certain things pertaining to medical care such as infant mortality and preventable deaths and we’re always dead last. Then, to top it off, i just heard that we spend more per person on health care than any nation in the world and since we’re like the fith largest population or something, that’s a lot of money for LAST PLACE. The only good thing about our healthcare I see is our awesome medical research at our universities where i think we kick ass in the amount of new treatments and discoveries. But that wouldn’t be affected by universal healthcare. The poor deserve health care without bankruptcy.
